The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.
— Mohandas Gandhi

Kay has had the privilege of engaging in community service from an early age. As a young immigrant to the United States, she had to learn how to make a life in a new and different environment. You need strong coping skills to survive moving to a major urban city like New York.  Life will throw us curve balls, and how we deal with them is the key to moving to the next level. After developing and attitude of grit and determination, Kay went on to work in various industries and remains focused on the strategy that empowerment is a daily goal.

She earned a Bachelor’s degree in English and a Master’s degree in Public Administration. She is s a dynamic speaker, mentor, leadership coach and a senior executive in human resources and operations management. She is Principal of The GLO Group, a global leadership development firm. Kay gives back through organizations such as National Association of African Americans in Human Resources (NAAAHR), United Way of Broward County, Mission United, and Human Resource Association of Broward County (HRABC).

Research highlights that an empowered woman is a key asset not only for the individual but also for the world. As Chief Service Officer with the Life on Power movement Kay focuses on helping others. She has experience using a growth mindset to overcome challenges and roles in leadership, coaching and mentoring of others. Kay has successfully helped individuals align natural skills sets with passion, purpose and life goals. The idea is to create fundamental shifts in capacity through transforming way of thinking, feeling and behaving in relation to others.

Kay is committed personally and professionally to the service of others and believes that it positively affects the world.
